How to book a Catamaran in Italy?

Booking is simple and guided from start to finish. You get clear pricing, local advice, and support before, during, and after your trip.
What we need from you
- Dates and preferred base, Naples, Salerno, Castellammare di Stabia, Sorrento, Procida, Olbia, Portisco, Cannigione, Palermo, Trapani, Capo d’Orlando, Milazzo, Marina di Scarlino, Punta Ala, or Piombino.
- Crew size and cabin needs, double cabins, child ages, single cabin if needed.
- Skippered or bareboat.
- Your sailing background, licenses, VHF certificate, and past routes.
- Wishlist, areas like Amalfi, Capri, Sardinia, Sicily, Tuscany, water toys, transfers, diets.
How the offer process works
- We confirm your brief and shortlist yachts that fit.
- You receive an itemized quote with photos, equipment, and total costs.
- We place a short hold while you review.
- You approve one yacht and receive contract, invoice, and payment instructions.
- Before arrival, we collect crew list, ETA, transfer details, and provisioning notes so check-in runs fast.

Bareboat or with crew
- Bareboat, you skipper the yacht with a competent mate.
- Skippered, a licensed skipper handles the yacht and daily sailing.
- Hostess or cook, shopping, breakfast, light lunches or full meals, daily tidying.
Bareboat requirements in Italy
- Valid skipper license accepted by Italian authorities, ICC or national equivalent.
- VHF Short Range Certificate.
- A second experienced crew member for maneuvers.
- Passports or IDs for all guests and a completed crew list.
- Follow local rules on Posidonia, marine parks, and speed limits.
What is included in the charter rate
- Fully equipped catamaran, dinghy with outboard, bed linen, galley kit.
- Standard safety gear, lifejackets, liferaft, fire equipment, tools, spare lines.
- Local VAT per current rules.
- Area briefing and support line.
What is not included
- Fuel, mooring and marina fees, tourist taxes, and provisioning.
- Optional extras, skipper, hostess, cook, Wi-Fi, SUP, kayak, early check-in.
- Park permits where required, La Maddalena in Sardinia, Egadi MPA in Sicily, Capri mooring fields, Tuscan Archipelago rules.
Check-in and check-out
- Check-in, Saturday from 17:00.
- Return to base, Friday by 18:00 for technical check.
- Disembarkation, Saturday by 09:00 after inventory and fuel top-up.
- Mid-week starts on request outside peak weeks.
Payments
- Booking deposit, 50 percent to secure the yacht.
- Balance, 30 to 45 days before embarkation.
- Bank transfer preferred. Card payment available with processing fee.
- All amounts and due dates appear on your invoice and contract.
Security deposit or damage waiver
- Refundable security deposit held at check-in and released after check-out.
- Or damage waiver plus a smaller refundable part.
- Choose the model that fits your risk preference.
Insurance
- Third-party liability and hull insurance with a deductible.
- The deductible equals the security deposit or the residual part under the waiver.
- Personal travel insurance recommended for all guests.
Optional crew services
- Skipper per day plus guest meals and a cabin.
- Hostess or cook per day plus guest meals and a cabin.
- Exact daily rates appear in your quote for the selected yacht and dates.
Cancellation policy
- More than 60 days before embarkation, 30 percent fee.
- 30 to 59 days, 50 percent fee.
- 0 to 29 days, full fee.
- When possible we offer date changes or credit for a future week, subject to availability and supplier terms.
After booking
- You receive a packing list, base contacts, and marina maps.
- We help with transfers, early provisioning, and water toys.
- Briefings cover ferry lanes in the Bay of Naples, Bonifacio Strait conditions, La Maddalena rules, Egadi permits, and Tuscan Archipelago zones.
On arrival
- Paperwork and deposit handled at the base.
- Technical handover, instruments, engines, rig, safety, and dinghy.
- Local tips, restaurant calls, and mooring suggestions for each day.
During your charter
- Support team on call for weather updates and route tweaks.
- Partners across Campania, Sardinia, Sicily, and Tuscany for parts and service.
- Fast help for berth changes, divers, or spare gear.

- Every quote shows the base rate, VAT, mandatory extras, and optional items.
