BOOKING AGENT

Job description:
The booking agent communicates with the clients by email or phone and organizes reservations for boat charters in Greece.
During the season, the job description of a booking agent includes welcoming and escorting guests in the marina and checking out the boats that have been taken over and are ready for new charters.

Terms required:

  • at least two languages are excellently spoken (English, Italian, and German).
  • minimum high school degree
  • computer skills
  • B category driver’s license

SKIPPER

Job description:
A skipper’s obligation on board is to sail the boat, do the transfers, take over boats, and also take care of the boat and guests on board. Beside that, a skipper needs to be communicative, have tolerance and patience with guests, be able to recommend interesting routes and places, and give good advice regarding their stay on board and in Greece.

HOSTESS

Job description:
A hostess is mostly in charge of preparing food and ship cleaning. Her responsibility is to keep the boat clean and tidy and to oversee food supply and dish preparation (of course in consultation with the guests).
A hostess is a communicative, educated, and tidy person. She has a way with different people—discreet, pleasant, and always at the guests service.

Hostess jobs vary depending on how many other crew members are there, meaning if she is the only one or one of several crew members.
